Welcome to The Free-Thought Roundtable! Before we start, let me say this: I am very aware that my opinion is not necessarily the same as everyone else's opinion, so I therefore intend to say whatever I want, and if you are not of the same opinion, then you can go back to the page that sent you here or close your browser. Whichever you choose is fine with me; I don't care. As long as you're still reading this page, I know that you know that opinions abound at this site, and they may not necessarily be yours. Anyway, this site is here to talk about issues. All kinds of issues. Anything that comes up that week (I try and change them weekly). And notice that the word "Roundtable" is in the title. King Arthur's roundtable was that way (round) so there was no "head" of the table (also no foot, but you get the point). No one was above anyone else; essentially, everyone was equal. That's the point of this site. No one opinion is better than anyone else's. Say what you feel; that's what we're all about here. You like or don't like something you see? Use the feedback link to speak your peace. I'll post your comments. Speaking of issues, we are gonna dive right in to Controversial Topic #1: GUN CONTROL. Just click on the Gun Control button on the left to go to the gun control discussion page.
Controversial Topic #2 is POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. I am so sick and tired of ensuring that my speech is politically correct that it hampers what I try to say. Click over there for more. The third Controversial Topic is EQUALITY, and when I say that, I mean sexual equality...which boils down to what? Click on the button to the left to find out. The DISCUSSION ROOM is where you can share your opinions about any one of the weekly topics, and archives about other weekly topics are listed in there.
FEEDBACK is what you want to tell me. Just spit it out; I got big shoulders, I can take it. Fortunately enough for me, my keyboard came fully equipped with a Delete key, and I know how to use it. I saw an article that came out in the paper a few July 4ths ago written by Mike Rosen called "the Bill of No Rights." It kind of sets everything into perspective, and if you read it, I think you'll understand what I'm trying to accomplish with this web site. Also, I'm a big fan of quotable quotes. You'll find that most of them are in line with the spirit of this page. Tell me what you think about them.
WEB RINGSWeb rings are important because they link pages together of common origin or intent. If you like my site, then follow the links to other great pages in the rings below:
